Java Backend Engineer - Fiat

Position: Java Developer (GMT+4 to GMT+8 timezone preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, reliable Java-based systems
• Collaborate with teams to define system requirements and architecture
• Develop and optimize infrastructure components like databases, servers, and networks
• Implement automated deployment and monitoring for system reliability
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and system issues
• Use caching, load balancing, and optimization techniques
• Maintain documentation on system architecture and deployment processes
• Monitor system health and implement updates for uninterrupted service

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the JVM and Java ecosystem (payment industry experience is a plus)
• Proficient in MySQL and familiar with at least one NoSQL database
• Experience with distributed system design and messaging middleware
• Ability to work under pressure and learn quickly
• Strong cross-team communication skills
