Join Coinbase As A Intercompany Accountant

We are looking for a driven Intercompany Accountant to join our Global GL Operations Accounting team. In this role, you will oversee intercompany accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you’ll handle intercompany entries, allocations, settlements, and process improvements while collaborating across departments like Tax, Treasury, and Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage intercompany transactions, cash settlements, and balance reconciliations.
• Analyze foreign exchange impacts and translation adjustments.
• Collaborate on transfer pricing calculations and resolve data issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies, designing improvements as needed.
• Support audits, maintain process documentation, and complete special projects.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience; intercompany and multi-currency expertise is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) and knowledge of intercompany transfer pricing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Active CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience with G-Suite, SQL, Snowflake, or similar analytics tools.
