Role: Software Engineer (Optimism Focus)

What You’ll Do

Work closely with our co-founder and engineers on the Optimism roadmap, focusing on:

• Optimism Governance app (vote.optimism.io)
• OP Retro Funding app (atlas.optimism.io)
• OP Governance API

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years in production software development
• 3+ years with front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Remix, etc.)
• Strong TypeScript fundamentals
• Deep understanding of Ethereum & L2 solutions
• Ability to read Solidity code
• Experience with indexers (e.g., Subgraph, Shovel, Ponder)
• Strong CS fundamentals & scalable system design skills
• Passion for Optimism & open-source collaboration

Bonus Points:

• Contributions to the Optimism/Superchain ecosystem
• Experience with open-source projects & crypto applications
• Familiarity with EAS, IPFS, or Farcaster
• Proven impact on improving infrastructure & design systems
