The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with deep protocol knowledge to join our Protocol team. You'll lead key initiatives, including staking, slashing, rewards, and EigenPods, to advance Ethereum’s scalability and security. This remote, full-time position offers the chance to work on impactful projects within the Ethereum ecosystem and drive our protocol roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of senior engineers, guiding development and protocol functionality.
• Manage core protocol areas: staking, rewards, slashing, and EigenPods.
• Engage with stakeholders, aligning technical initiatives with strategic goals.
• Represent Eigen Labs at industry events and drive protocol security efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering with protocol or blockchain expertise; 3+ years in management.
• In-depth Solidity and Ethereum knowledge, with experience in large-scale protocol projects.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Protocol leadership in Ethereum projects (e.g., Uniswap, Aave) or other L1/L2 chains.
• Background in Big Tech with hands-on blockchain experience.
