At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom worldwide. We’re looking for a passionate intern to join our Security Data Platforms team for a 12-week summer internship in 2025. You’ll contribute to building systems for security alerting, detection, investigation, and proactive monitoring, helping shape the future of the global financial system.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to build data collection infrastructure and automation using Go or Python.
• Improve security asset management applications.
• Follow secure software development practices.

Requirements:

• Strong software development skills.
• Interest in pursuing a career in security.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Pursuing a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with GitHub and AWS.
• Proficiency in Python and Go.
• Understanding of blockchain technology and risks.

Compensation:
$50 (Depending on location) with a target bonus and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)) for full-time offers.
