Contribute to our cloud-native continuous delivery stack, improving developer experience and deployment processes for our internal platforms.
Liaise closely with the core SRE team to give feedback regarding tooling and to implement upstream policies
Integrate code that leverages established practices with infrastructure-based tooling
Develop monitoring tools for our institutional services
Streamline and maintain a Python/Rust-based infrastructure for production trading; manage production servers with a focus on scalability, fault-tolerance, and cost efficiency.
Continuously improve security, reliability, and cost-efficiency across the platform through automation and best DevOps practices.
Advocate for and implement best practices in CI/CD, cloud, and infrastructure management.
Understand deeply the existing architecture being used at Blockchain.com, implement best practices within the Institutional teams and drive consistency with the rest of the platform
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Proficiency with CI/CD technologies (GitHub Actions, etc.).
Strong Python, SQL & Linux skills
Knowledge of Rust is not required but would be beneficial
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS & GCP) with hands-on experience in public cloud environments.
Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad).
