Senior DevOps Engineer - Chainalysis

Chainalysis’ engineering team tackles complex technical challenges to build trust in cryptocurrency, with teams across the UK, Denmark, and the USA. In a fast-evolving industry, we’re building a flexible platform to adapt to rapid changes.

Senior DevOps Engineer, Platform Services will enhance our multi-cloud infrastructure, support engineering efficiency, and guide infrastructure best practices. Focused on reducing cognitive load for our colleagues, they collaborate closely with Developer Productivity, Cost, and Security Engineering teams to drive impactful projects.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver robust platform services like Kubernetes, Kafka, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Ensure high availability, uptime, and resilience for production systems.
• Support R&D teams to self-serve platform services and improve productivity.
• Innovate and contribute to roadmap planning.
• Maintain SLAs and SLOs for platform infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Expertise with AWS (IAM, S3, EC2, EKS, RDS, MSK, Lambda) and Kubernetes in production.
• Strong background in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Skilled in streaming pipelines (Kafka, Spark) and RDBMS tuning (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with production monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus).

Nice to have:

• Standards compliance experience (ISO-27001, NIST 800-171, SOC 2).
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, Golang, or Python.
• Interest in cryptocurrencies.
