Senior Financial Data Accountant - Bitpanda

We’re looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic team, managing daily accounting activities in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will oversee complex transactions, ensure timely financial reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and data accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Independently assess complex transactions and record them accurately
• Manage wallet-related transactions (fiat and crypto)
• Contribute to the timely delivery of financial statements
• Drive process improvements and automation
• Ensure data consistency across teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fintech accounting
• Strong analytical and financial data analysis skills
• Expertise in IFRS (Austrian GAAP a plus)
• Proficiency in SQL (Tableau/Snowflake preferred)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills (English required, German a plus)
