Job Application: Third-Party Risk Management and Outsourcing Lead

Mission: We are seeking a Third-Party Risk Management and Outsourcing Lead to oversee Bitpanda’s global outsourcing strategy. As a second-line officer, you will manage third-party risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and develop outsourcing frameworks. This role includes overseeing outsourcing arrangements, monitoring third-party risk, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

You will report to the CFO and collaborate with internal teams like Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Technology. The role may also involve external stakeholder engagement, including regulators.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Bitpanda’s third-party risk and outsourcing framework.
• Review and manage material outsourcing arrangements, ensuring SLAs, KRIs, and compliance.
• Oversee the Third-Party Risk lifecycle, including identification, assessment, monitoring, and exit planning.
• Provide training on outsourcing policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in Outsourcing, Intra-Group, and Third-Party Risk Management, with knowledge of MaRisk, EBA Outsourcing, PRA SS2/21, and other regulatory standards.
• Experience in developing and operating risk/outsourcing frameworks and managing third-party relationships.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• 7+ years of experience in Third-Party Risk and Outsourcing.
