About the Team Our New User Vertical team in the Platform Product Group builds foundational platforms to support emerging use cases like Family Trusts, Joint Accounts, and SMB banking. We’re focused on creating scalable, trusted, and compliant systems that are essential to Coinbase’s mission.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop critical services using Golang.
• Design and implement scalable, industry-standard backend systems.
• Lead technical discussions and roadmap development with cross-functional teams.
• Write high-quality, tested code that meets user needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to build, scale, and maintain production services.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and high-quality coding practices.
• Strong leadership skills in team development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rapid company growth, Blockchain technology, Golang, and microservices.
• Background in financial, high-reliability, or security systems.
• Familiarity with crypto-forward concepts, including Ethereum and dApps.

Pay Range $180,625—$212,000 USD (includes salary, target bonus, target equity, and benefits).
