World coin is a privacy-focused network designed to verify human identity (not bots) using secure "Proof-of-Personhood" technology. At its core is the Orb, a custom biometric imaging device that ensures each user’s uniqueness, powering a globally inclusive financial network.

The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll design and build robust systems within AWS VPCs, primarily using Golang. You’ll handle:

• End-to-end development, from design to deployment.
• AWS infrastructure (S3, EKS, EC2, etc.) provisioned with Terraform.
• Participation in on-call rotations for support and troubleshooting.

About You

• Skilled in Golang or Rust and experienced in large-scale microservice architecture.
• Expertise with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with complex, distributed systems and performance/security considerations.
• MongoDB experience is a plus.

Compensation
For CA and NY: Base salary from $176,000–$270,000, plus a competitive incentive package, benefits, and professional development support.
