Role Overview: Join Coinbase's Consumer Product Group as a frontend engineer to develop the next generation of crypto products, making cryptocurrency accessible globally. In 2024, our goal is to position the Coinbase retail app as the top self-custody wallet.

Responsibilities:

• Design secure, reliable services to integrate with blockchains, adding new cryptocurrency assets across Coinbase products.
• Build user-friendly digital currency interfaces, adding functionality like staking, voting, and predicting.
• Create infrastructure to ensure safe asset transfers for customers.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to translate vision into actionable roadmaps.
• Contribute positively to team dynamics and inclusivity.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years developing web apps using JavaScript and frameworks like React.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks, front-end architecture best practices, and collaborative product development.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.

Preferred:

• Experience with front-end development in finance or security.
• Knowledge of React Native and crypto-related activities, including dApps and blockchain services.

Location: Remote
Pay Range: $185,000 annually, with additional bonus and equity options.
