About the Role
The Backend Platform team powers critical infrastructure at Coinbase, supporting asynchronous processing capabilities for core services like trading and fund management. As a Software Engineer on the Orchestration and Processing pod, you’ll develop scalable, fault-tolerant systems that simplify job orchestration for teams across the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance tools for background job orchestration.
• Support critical user processes, including trading and fund management.
• Operate and optimize Temporal and internal job processing services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in job processing frameworks.
• Proven ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with onchain activity (e.g., Ethereum, dApps, blockchain services).
• Experience with Temporal or Cadence.
