Senior Software Engineer, Datastores (Infrastructure)

As part of our Infrastructure team, you’ll design, implement, and operate critical database systems, supporting millions of operations per second across Web3 technologies.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain distributed database systems (e.g., MongoDB, Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis).
• Focus on scalability, reliability, and cost-efficient performance.
• Guide technical decisions, collaborate with database/storage vendors, and write high-quality code.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and provide on-call support for operational excellence.
• Stay informed on database trends and integrate emerging technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale database deployments (e.g., cloud databases, performance tuning).
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, or Python for backend development.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with crypto and blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, dApps).
• Expertise in incident response and disaster recovery.
• Exposure to rapid company growth (e.g., scaling teams from 10 to 100+ engineers).

Compensation:

• Target salary range: $180,625–$212,500 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
