About the Role: Accessibility Engineer

As part of the Developer Experience team, you'll develop tools and systems that empower Coinbase engineers to build accessible, high-quality products faster. Focusing on UI systems and design, you’ll be instrumental in creating accessible, consistent, and engaging user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scalable tools and dashboards to ensure product accessibility and provide metrics for team insights.
• Develop accessible components for our design system and offer expert support to product teams.
• Drive visibility and simplicity around accessibility, educating engineers on best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in software engineering with expertise in React, React Native, semantic HTML, and ARIA.
• Experience with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers) and accessibility tools like Deque aXe.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Golang, blockchain experience, A/B testing, and knowledge of financial/security systems.

Pay Range: $147,000–$174,000 USD (includes bonus, equity, and benefits)
