Software Engineer, Frontend - Platform

Coinbase is looking for an experienced frontend engineer to join our team in building the next generation of crypto products. You'll help develop scalable, secure, and efficient platforms that integrate with blockchains and expand cryptocurrency accessibility globally.

Responsibilities include designing secure services, building user interfaces for digital currency apps, creating infrastructure for safe asset transfers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn vision into actionable plans. You will contribute positively to team dynamics and ensure inclusivity in interactions.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience developing web apps using JavaScript and frameworks like React
• Familiarity with frontend architecture, performance, security, and usability best practices
• Experience collaborating with designers, engineers, and product managers
• Strong coding skills and a focus on delivering high-quality, tested code

Nice to haves:

• Experience in finance or security spaces
• 1+ year of React Native experience
• Knowledge of crypto, blockchain, and dApps

Pay range: $140,250–$165,000 USD plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Remote work available. Coinbase is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
