Job Application: UX Researcher at Coinbase
Coinbase is on a mission to increase economic freedom globally, building the future financial system. We are seeking a passionate UX Researcher to join our Developer Platform (CDP) team. This team is dedicated to creating developer tools that simplify onchain development, including APIs and SDKs for wallets, staking, stablecoins, and more.
As a UX Researcher, you will drive the research efforts that enhance the developer experience. You’ll work closely with Product and Design teams to understand usability, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape product decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UX Research for the Developer Product Group, collaborating with Design and Product teams.
- Conduct mixed-methods research (interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.) and provide actionable insights.
- Guide stakeholders to transform business needs into research questions.
- Empower teams to independently gather feedback from developers.
- Create research reports to inform design and product strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years of UX research experience, ideally with leadership or significant ownership of a large product area.
- Proven experience with developer products and tools.
- Strong knowledge of UX and research principles.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence decision-making.
- Experience managing project prioritization and stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborative attitude with a growth mindset and an interest in crypto or financial products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI research or as a developer.
- Familiarity with Coinbase products.
Salary Range:
$188,275—$221,500 USD
