Technical Product Lead - Penumbra Labs

Penumbra is a private-by-default, proof-of-stake network enabling private transactions across cryptoassets. It connects with other chains through Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) and offers private staking for delegators. Penumbra’s ZSwap decentralized exchange uses sealed-bid batch auctions to prevent frontrunning and provides anonymous, concentrated liquidity for traders.

Role:
Penumbra Labs is looking for a Technical Product Lead to guide its product roadmap and collaborate closely with the CEO. This role involves shaping Penumbra’s privacy-focused ecosystem, ensuring product strategy aligns with user needs, and advancing secure, decentralized transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Define and manage Penumbra’s product roadmap in collaboration with the CEO.
• Lead product development by prioritizing features and launches based on user feedback and market trends.
• Engage with the community to gather insights and identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee resource allocation and ensure product quality in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Stay informed on blockchain technology and privacy protocols to guide product strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in product management within blockchain, web3, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, DeFi, privacy solutions, and ZK technologies.
• Proven leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Compensation:
The base salary for this remote, full-time role is $160,000 - $180,000, depending on experience.
