Web3 Engineer - Carbon X Ton SA

Carbon X Tons SA is a Swiss company leveraging blockchain for climate action, including the creation of CXTONS, a collateralized carbon stable coin. Our mission is to empower individuals and organizations to transition to a low-carbon economy.

We are seeking a Web3 Engineer to manage and develop the CXT Platform, which is ready for product launch. The ideal candidate will have expertise in NextJS (React), React Native, MongoDB, NestJS, and a passion for sustainable finance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the platform’s admin and user panels using NextJS (React) for efficient workflows and data management.
• Build a native app and integrate Web3 technologies for seamless user interactions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval with MongoDB for performance and scalability.
• Integrate blockchain functionality, including wallet connections, smart contracts, and decentralized storage.
• Implement performance optimization and ensure Web3 security practices, including secure wallet management and data privacy.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct unit tests to ensure platform robustness.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly to ensure a smooth user experience.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Web3 development experience, with a focus on NextJS (React).
• Hands-on experience with NestJS and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies (Ethereum, smart contracts, dApps).
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, wallet integration (MetaMask, WalletConnect), and smart contract interactions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
