Senior Analyst, International Tech Risk & Controls

Coinbase is seeking a passionate and driven Technology Risk & Controls Analyst to join our Germany team. This role will focus on safeguarding the organization against technological and cybersecurity risks by conducting risk assessments, evaluating controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess technology risks, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and regulations.
• Advise on control design and evaluate existing processes for vulnerabilities.
• Review and assess control effectiveness implemented by operational management and global teams.
• Develop and monitor key risk indicators and compliance metrics.
• Update technology policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to improve incident response.
• Prepare risk and control reports for senior management.
• Propose improvements to risk management processes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in technology governance, risk, and compliance.
• Experience with frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, NIST, BAIT.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and remediation projects.
• Experience in global programs, cloud-native environments, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Prior experience working with auditors and regulatory reporting.

Nice to Have:

• Fluency in German.
• Experience in Financial Services, FinTech, or crypto.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies.
