Senior Analyst, International Tech Risk & Controls

This role is crucial in safeguarding Coinbase by conducting risk assessments, evaluating controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct second-line assessments of technology risks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate and improve existing controls and processes to identify vulnerabilities.
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and ensure ongoing risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance incident detection and response.
• Prepare management reports, regulatory documentation, and internal audits.
• Propose and implement improvements to risk management processes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in technology governance, risk, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of IT frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, NIST, BAIT.
• Experience with risk management, remediation projects, and global programs.
• Proficiency in cloud-native environments and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks.

Nice to Have:

• Fluency in German.
• Experience in Financial Services, FinTech, or Crypto.
• Knowledge of regulators and prior crypto experience.
