Role Overview: We’re hiring experienced backend engineers to develop next-gen crypto products and features, addressing complex, large-scale problems and enabling secure, real-time applications. You’ll help make cryptocurrency accessible worldwide, focusing on high-frequency, low-latency operations within cloud-based, secure infrastructure.

Consumer Product Group’s Goal for 2024: To make Coinbase the top self-custody wallet by MTU and download share, advancing our wallet as the future of Web3 through products like the Coinbase app, advanced trade, dapps, and staking.

Responsibilities:

• Build critical backend services using Golang
• Design scalable, cloud-based systems
• Develop long-term visions for backend infrastructure
• Collaborate to shape product roadmaps quarterly
• Deliver high-quality, well-tested code

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in software engineering with experience in service-oriented architecture
• Strong commitment to building an open financial system
• Proven record of producing high-quality, reliable code

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in startup-to-mid-size company growth, blockchain, microservices, Golang, Ruby, Docker, or PostgreSQL
• Background in high-reliability systems or crypto-forward experience

 Remote | Salary: $180,625—$212,000 USD
