About the Role
Coinbase is hiring experienced backend engineers to develop next-gen crypto products. You’ll tackle complex technical challenges, help create scalable and secure systems, and build cloud-based real-time applications to make cryptocurrency accessible worldwide. In our Institutional Product Group, you’ll support the secure custody of digital assets for financial institutions, enabling crypto participation through staking, governance, and web3 gateways.

Responsibilities

• Develop critical services with Golang for product and business needs
• Design scalable systems using modern cloud technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate vision into actionable roadmaps
• Write high-quality, well-tested code

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with experience in building and scaling production services
• Expertise in service-oriented architecture and writing well-tested code
• Strong interest in building an open, inclusive financial system

Bonus Points

• Experience in high-growth environments, Blockchain, Golang, Docker, and building secure systems

Job Details

• Remote role
• Pay: $180,625–$212,000 + equity, benefits, and bonuses
