Staff Software Engineer, Backend - Crypto Data Foundations

We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Crypto Data Foundation team. This team has created ChainStack, a leading open-source Web3 data infrastructure designed to provide scalable and efficient access to crypto data.

In this role, you will:

• Architect and develop distributed systems.
• Work with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Mentor team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Design and implement key infrastructure components.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code.

We’re looking for candidates with:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience architecting and developing impactful solutions.
• Passion for building an open financial system.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with rapid company growth.
• Blockchain knowledge (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.).
• Experience with microservices or decomposing monoliths.
• Familiarity with Golang, Ruby, Docker, and Postgres.
• Experience building high-reliability or security systems.
• Crypto-forward experience, including Ethereum addresses and dApps.

Salary range: $211,650—$249,000 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
