Technology Officer

Coinbase is on a mission to increase global economic freedom, and we’re looking for a passionate Technology Officer to join our Germany team. You'll support strategic initiatives like documenting the IT strategy, managing outsourced IT services, and coordinating operational resilience efforts. You’ll also help drive compliance with new regulations and support audit and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain CB Germany IT and Digital Operational Resilience Strategies
• Support incident management and monitor KPIs
• Assess new regulations and translate them into actionable IT requirements
• Serve as a key technology contact for Coinbase Germany
• Contribute to the Technology Governance and ICT Risk Management frameworks
• Manage operational resilience activities, including disaster recovery testing
• Assist in internal/external audits

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in tech governance, risk, and compliance
• Familiarity with frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, NIST, or BAIT
• Experience in remediation projects and managing cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of cloud environments and data-driven decision-making
• Fluent in German
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with regulators and in Financial Services or FinTech
• Prior crypto experience
• Advanced cloud computing and project management tools expertise
