Technology Officer

Coinbase is seeking a passionate Technology Officer to join our Germany team. You’ll support strategic initiatives, including documenting IT and operational resilience strategies, managing outsourced IT services, and ensuring compliance with new regulations. You'll also contribute to audit projects, coordinate risk management, and oversee technology governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Coinbase Germany's IT and Operational Resilience strategies.
• Manage technology incident KPIs and create corrective action plans.
• Assess regulatory changes and translate them into actionable IT requirements.
• Serve as a primary technology contact for Coinbase Germany.
• Lead technology governance and risk management activities.
• Manage disaster recovery and audit processes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in technology governance, risk, or compliance.
• Familiarity with IT frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, NIST, BAIT).
• Experience in remediation projects and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of Cloud environments and data-driven decision-making.
• Fluent in German.

Preferred:

• Experience in Financial Services, FinTech, or crypto.
• Expertise in cloud computing and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
